ARRIVAL- CHECK IN

A turn  inside the curtain, a perfectly placed jcpenney logo, adds to the allure of what it is that our guests won't expect.

ENCHANTED - WONDERMENT

NORTHERN EXPOSURE- ENTRANCE

Guests are surprised by a sudden change in temperature and potentially some lightly falling snow.  The space is tented with with sparkling LED curtain walls. There is a true scent of pine from the live shrubs which fill out the space.  A vintage car is parked with it's headlights and radio both turned on. A handsome model dressed in traditional woolen clothes, ties a tree to the roof of his car. His appearance conjures up a sense of wholesome well being, and fills out a traditional picture of a snowy Northern Exposure.  In the distance is the facade of a small log cabin. It is decorated for Christmas with the lights on, and the door open.  Silhouettes of people inside and another hostess welcome our guests inside.

Daylight Painted backdrop option

Interior- Cabin corner

Stepping through the door, our guests are greeted by the familiar sounds and smells of the season. They are treated to summer versions of traditional drinks and refreshments, as if arriving at the home of a friend. Decorative components fill up the small corner of the cabin they have entered, as the space opens up into our larger party. This threshold brings the guest from the chilly outdoors, and welcomes them to the preview of jcpenney HOLIDAY 2011.

Perhaps, a friendly older woman can be working at our table. Making some sort of dessert, or wrapping gifts .
She too is "glad to see you".
